The conversation circle is a friendly and welcoming group that meets weekly in the Súil Eile Space café in Bearna to practice their Irish together. It is open to everyone - whether you are a learner or a fluent speaker. This group emphasizes spoken Irish and is not a class (there is no teacher!), but a space to converse in Irish.

A ciorcal comhrá meets every Friday in the Clybaun Hotel in Knocknacarra. This conversation circle is open to everyone - whether you are a learner or a fluent speaker.
Book Club for Adult Learners

The first Monday of every month at 7.00pm in Súil Eile Space (H91 F62V)
Our Irish Language Learners Book Club meets monthly on the first Monday of the month between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in Súil Eile Space, Bearna (H91 F62V). Club members meet for a cup of tea and to discuss the book they have read during the month.
This Book Club is aimed at adults who are learning Irish and would like to do a little Irish reading every month.

Drama Club

Tuesday at 19:00 in Áras na nGael (H91 E1NY)
An attempt is currently underway to establish an amateur drama society for adults in Galway City. To this end, a series of weekly public meetings are being held to kick off the society every Tuesday at 19:00 in Áras na nGael (H91E1NY).
You don't need to have theatre experience or be fluent in Irish, everyone is welcome. There is a role for everyone, on stage or backstage.
